The management of Finca Medina is in the capable hands of 6th generation farmer Pedro Echeverria, who has adopted innovative practices to enhance the cherries plucked from trees his ancestors have cultivated for many years. In addition to innovation in fertiliser and farming practices, Pedro has also introduced new varieties to the farm.

All of his coffee trees are well protected by a thick shade provided by macadamia and avocado trees.

The farm has its own specialised wet and dry mills and a host of technical equipment that has evolved over the 130 years of coffee farming.
