This special flight contains four micro-lots produced by a collaboration of ZEST and the farming community of Finca Don Nolasco, from Northern Peru. Each sample weighs 50 grams, and has been carefully roasted and vacuum sealed to retain all its flavour qualities for a professional cupping.

The Flight Path

During August last year, two members from our ZEST coffee professional team traveled to the small Peruvian farm of Finca Don Nolasco. Our team of two, worked with the farmers to  experiment with yeast fermentation, passing on processing knowledge and experience. Their two week trip also included quality control training for the farmers to integrate into their coffee processing practices.

Our work with the local cooperative and their agronomists meant that successes achieved at one small family farm, can now be replicated through the hundreds of other cooperative members in this region.

With valued support from our café partners here in Australia, we’ve worked hard to help pave a progressive and profitable future for Peruvian coffee producers and, in doing so, produce some delicious lots to delight our palettes back at home. Enjoy!
