Back for a second season at Zest, Pink Bourbon Creation is a coffee we couldn't resist bringing back!
Grown by María Belén Díaz on her family farm, Resinas, in Huila, Colombia, this delightful Pink Bourbon showcases bright citrus fruits, crisp red apple, smooth vanilla sweetness and delicate green tea notes.
María is one of 96 female producers involved in the Huila Condor Project and brings over 12 years of specialty coffee experience to the table. Alongside her husband and three sons, she has transformed Resinas into a farm producing some truly exciting coffees!
In fact, you might have already enjoyed a little of María's coffee without even knowing it! We use washed coffees from the Huila Condor Project in both our Libertango and Corcovado blends, so there's a good chance you've already tasted the work of María and her fellow producers.
This particular lot undergoes 24 hours of cherry pre-fermentation, followed by 36 hours of anaerobic fermentation and 15 days of raised-bed drying. The result? A beautifully vibrant, sweet and refreshing cup that we're thrilled to share once again!
